The much-anticipated MG kit of Destiny Gundam is here, and is definitely not one to disappoint! The joints on this sharply detailed MG kit are greatly improved to allow for a wider range of movement and are more capable of replicating action poses as seen in the show. The wings can open and close, and it comes complete with its signature weaponry along with in-scale unpainted figures of Shinn Asuka (sitting and standing) and Stella Loussier. Foil stickers and original design marking stickers are included for custom markings, plus a custom display stand to assist with dynamic action poses. This special Extreme Burst Mode set also includes beautiful wing effect parts, clear beam effect parts, and a metallic gray runner of some mechanical parts including hands, plus 1/20-scale clear figures of Shinn Asuka and Kira Yamato.

I had originally bought this kit along with the Gundam Master Grade Infinite Justice Gundam 1/100 Scale Model Kit, but, as luck would have it, the vendor I bought it from was sold out at the time. Fortunately for me, I came across an online vendor who had it, and for a good price. And let me tell you, I was all over that like a hobo on a ham sandwich. After waiting about 2 weeks for it to arrive (it shipped straight from Japan), I wasted absolutely no time in building it, doing a full initial assembly in around 20 hours (sanding and polishing, still working on the paint supplies), and results were breathtaking. Everything about the kit was an absolute joy to handle, from the holographic Wings of Light to the internals. And, as is the norm with these Master Grade kits, the range-of-motion is near-flawless (can't say perfect, as it does fall short in a couple areas), allowing most any pose that comes to mind. Additionally, the kit comes with various effect parts, like the aforementioned Wings of Light parts, expanding the potential poses from a few sword swings and firing stances to various throwing poses, Palm Fiocina thrusts, and many others.
Long story short, I'd buy this kit again, just because it was so much fun.
-A bonus recommendation, get a couple Gundam Action Base 1 MG HG Black, and toss in either Gundam Master Grade Infinite Justice Gundam 1/100 Scale Model Kit or Gundam MG Strike Freedom Gundam Full Burst Mode Scale 1/100 and let 'em duke it out; the stands are interconnectable, making it easier for showdown dioramas!

Made to compliment the MG Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode. Whereas the other one has gold coated joints, this one was silver coated ones. Previously released in a regular MG version, this one includes a bunch of accessories. The most noticeable is the red-ish clear-ish wings that you put on its wings (the picture has the wings tipped in blue, but thats not true) Comes with two clear versions of the main characters (dont remember their names, but they are the pilots of the Destiny and Strike Freedom) Has a stand that comes with it to display it along with different sets of hands for the different accessories.
I find that the joints of this gundam are very nicely designed and it makes this gundam very easily to pose. Painting is not necessary, but it will make it look nicer.

very nice joint, looks, nice stands. However, legs are hard to move due to the certain new technologies. Most frustrating thing about this gundam is that the wings fall off really easily. But overall, one of the best gundam I have!

Well the master grade model of the destiny gundam is out and sure enough like the strike freedom before it they have made two versions. The "extreme blast mode" version comes with chrome parts some extra clear display parts for the weapons and a some extra figurenes. But lets face it if your getting it, your getting it for the wings. Two beautiful semi clear energy with that attach to wings of the model kit. Lit correctly this gundam looks as good as any kit ever made. The only complaints I have with this model kit are the price (blame the japanese for that) and that wings don't fit easily onto the model. It takes a lot of work to get them on there and for them to stay, and the instructions don't help much. But once you get them on it really makes for a spectacular display. In closing if you want to spend the extra money realize what your getting, two really cool wings and some other stuff you could do without.
